WAND launch on 7 August 2014

On 7 August 2014, the newly established e-initiative Women’s Achievement Network for Disability (WAND) was launched at the annual Artscape Women’s and Humanity festival. 

Approximately 200 people attended the event which included stakeholders from the disability and health sectors and women with disabilities.   Premier Helen Zille: the Western Cape Premier and Martelize Brink, RSG presenter were the two keynote speakers.
